why IAS ?

what IAS means?

IAS (Indian administrative services), used interchangeably for IAS, IPS, IFS in india, every year UPSC ( union public service commission) conduct entrance exam  called as CSE. Every year about 5 lakhs
 
of aspirant try their luck, about 18,000 pass in Preliminary exam, and   only 3000 make into mains, and some 500 and after interview, only handful get into services, makes it one of the toughest examination in India.

why IAS ?

why, a man aspire to be an IAS officer?
there can be number of answers to this question, reasons vary with each aspirant,
PARENTS FACTOR- in india, mostly,  parents want there children in "sarkari" job, and qualifying IAS directly propels you to "sarkari Babu" post, by this splendid feat, you will defeat neighbors, so called "sharma ji ka beta" feats, albeit you become roll model for many.

PRIVILEGE- you get a "lal batti" car, with many incentives, many benefits, you enter into elite segment of society, making you kind of "macho-man".

PRINCIPLES- this job provides you opportunity to execute your plan, you can work for people, you can serve them, you will have all kind of power to change society, ad bring prosperity in it by working and following on your ethics.
Bottom line is, you will enjoy and can cherish your life and in parallel you can change scenario and can wipe away tears of downtrodden!
