POWER OF PRIME MINISTER In Indian parliamentary system the prime minister is the head of the government, he is a leader, who is elected by the majority of Loksabha, he is the leader of lower house too. He is the de-facto head of the state, other than the ceremonial head, the president. After every general election, new member of parliament are elected y the people, under the FPTP system, which mean first past the position, than the majority party elects its own leader, and president make him to take oath, and then with consultation of PM the president a lot portfolio among others. POWER OF PM 1- In council of minister, he enjoy power of giving portfolio to Member of Parliament or Any other person, he find suitable for that position. 2- The president is bound to accept his suggestion regarding the allocation of portfolio. 3- He can reshuffle and reallocate the portfolio among the minister 4- He presides the meeting of council and play a dominant role in it 5- He c
